Event OVerview
The goal was to bring Ellen’s Stardust Diner to campus by having singers perform while food is served by RSA members! Each song also had a food item to accompany it and an educational write-up in the Playbill that explained the context, song takeaways, and resources that aligned with the struggles expressed in the song.
I had the original idea for the event and spearheaded the planning. I recruited others to help with the song selection, as well as the food item and resource pairings. From there, I recruited the volunteers & performers, designed the Playbills, placed the food order, created day-of documents, designed the layout, and ran the back-of-house.
