Event OVerview
Snowball is an annual Resident Student Association tradition dating back to the early 2000s. It is an annual off-campus prom for college students that gives students the classic American high school experience that not all Northeastern students have had. Recently, it was expanded to include talent and be an educational introduction to Boston nightlife.
I selected the artist, cupcakKe, and DJ for the event, created the mocktail menu, created all marketing materials, and designed all of the venue screens for the event. Additionally, I helped coordinate volunteers, organize the venue setup, and coordinate green room purchases & setup for the artists.

Initially, we only planned to sell 500 tickets to the event, but about a week before the event, all tickets were sold out. I led the team in getting approval from the venue and Northeastern’s Student Activities Business Office to increase the number of tickets to 750 to meet the overwhelming demand. The 250 additional tickets we released sold out within two hours.
